The Most Insane Peanut Butter Flavors
No matter how much of a hardcore peanut butter fan you are, a little variety is always fun and exciting. While I can never tell you whether I prefer smooth or crunchy (love them both) I can tell you that flavored peanut butter has a special place in my heart. Trying new things is right up my alley and not much beats a fresh jar of a fun flavor of peanut butter.
In honor of fun, variety, and uniqueness, I have compiled the most epic list of peanut butter flavors. These peanut butters listed below make for amazing gifts, fun new recipe ingredients or even just a perfect way to end a busy day.
Bacon
This company offers a variety of peanut butter flavors all of which contain bacon. Yes, that is correct. Hardwood smoked BACON! The combination seems odd but tastes so classic that you’ll understand why Elvis put bacon on his peanut butter sandwiches. The offer several varieties including:
- Original
- Maple
- Honey
- Chipotle Honey
- Pumpkin Pie Spice (Seasonal)
Spicy Thai
This one is probably my personal favorite and I order an embarrassing amount. Please don’t look at my Amazon order history. The spiciness is subtle and not going to burn your mouth numb. It plays well off the Thai spices of lemon grass and lime leaves. Straight from the jar or made into a sauce, this one is a winner! Anyway, their other flavors are:
-
-
-
-
- Espresso Nib
- Honey-Chipotle
- Garam Masala
- Classic Salted

Peanut Butter Marshmellow Spread
By: Mrs. Millers
The Millers might be onto something here. Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches are a cult favorite especially in the northern regions of the USA. For those of you who are in on the know, here we have a peanut butter and marshmallow spread! Kind of like Goober but with marshmallow. Since this is an Amish favorite I wonder if there is any connection to this Amish spread and the love of fluffernutter sandwiches.
Hot Mamba
This company makes the most delicious spicy peanut butter and they call is Hot Mamba. It combines three different chiles (habanero, guajillo, and ancho) with a touch of sugar and salt for the most supreme combination of sweet and spicy. They also offer a few other flavors:
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Maple Cinnamon
- Classic Peanut

Marmite
By: Marmite
Only the elite know what marmite is and it’s that small percentage that actually enjoys this very interesting flavor. Marmite is a yeast extract spread that looks like chocolate but tastes nothing like it. It’s very salty and best consumed in small amounts on buttered toast. In this jar of Marmite meets peanut butter they offer quality peanut butter with just the right amount of Marmite. It definitely isn’t overpowering and is the perfect amount of sweet and savory. It comes in both smooth and crunchy varieties.
Banana Bread
By: Laurel’s Butter
Stop everything because banana bread on a Sunday morning gives me all the feels. But a banana bread peanut butter? I am here for it! The flavors are not overpowering and blend seemlessly. If banana bread isn’t your thing don’t stress. Laurel’s also offers some other tasty flavors such as:

Rainbow Sherbert
By: Epic Spreads
So these aren’t 100% peanut spreads but rather a peanut, cashew, and coconut mix. Since peanuts are the first ingredient we deemed them worthy of our list. Just about everyone I know that has tried these spreads are kind of mad that I brought them into their lives. Mostly due to the fact that they are so delicious and very hard to stop eating. You might even clean an entire jar with a day or two. Just saying, it could happen. Some of their other EPIC concoctions include:
- S’mores
- Cookies & Cream
- Birthday cake
- Chocolate fudge
Praline
By: Basse
This spread gives us some serious sugar rushes with a touch of nostalgia. Since pralines are nuts, sugar and cream it makes the most perfect sense to turn it into a peanut butter spread. They also offer cashew nut butter and brazil nut butter.
Chocolate Banana
By: Legendary
The mix of chocolate and banana in peanut butter is exactly what it looks like when dreams come true. It also kind of reminds me of a banana split. It smells great, tastes great and has a nice smooth texture. Since it contains real banana you don’t need to worry about any horrid artificial banana taste. This is the real deal right here!
This one does contain sugar alcohols which can disrupt the digestive tract when eaten in excess.
Mint Chocolate Chip
By: Nuts ‘N More
If you are a lover of all things mint and chocolate then you’ll understand why mint chocolate chip peanut butter will change your life! It is the perfect combination as the mint never overpowers the peanut butter. Not only do we love it but we also love their other incredible flavors. It’s hard to name a favorite so you decide that for yourself. Not all of them are pure peanut butter and some are a mix of nuts. Their other varieties include:
-

- Chocolate maple pretzel
- Mocha cappuccino
- Salted caramel
- Cookie butter
- Seasonal flavors (apple crisp, gingerbread, spiced pumpkin pie)

They offer a smooth texture that is never gritty and all flavors complement the peanuts rather than overpower them. Some of their other varieties include:
- Smoke & Fire

- Chocolate
Apple Cinnamon
By: MeWe
This brand of peanut butter intentionally offers a smoother texture that is easier to eat. The combination of apples and cinnamon mixed with peanut butter just works. It feels like home and makes for the easiest smack ever! Great on muffins or with apple slices. They only have a few flavors but we love them all. Their other flavors are:

Raspberry Chocolate
By: PB Crave
The texture of this one is on point. It is smooth and rich just like some of the peanut butter spreads that you probably grew up on. They add mini chocolate chips both white and dark so you can enjoy that little burst of chocolate with every bite. The peanut butter is flavored with raspberry which gives it the slight sweetness that we all crave. Try out some of their other flavors like:
- Sweet & Dark chocolate
- Cookie Nookie
Butterscotch
By: Nutty Novelties
Butterscotch is a cult classic that you either love or hate. I am personally on team love since my Grandma constantly fed me butterscotch pudding growing up. The rich creamy sweetness effortlessly melts into the salty goodness of this peanut butter. There is a chance that I melt a few spoons and pour it on top of my ice cream. They offer some other interesting flavors like:
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Habanero honey
- Cinnamon
- Cappuccino
- Pumpkin Spice

Honey Grim Cracker
By: Angry Mills
No typo in that flavor name, it’s grim. This one is caffeinated peanut butter with whey protein, yes! It’s almost as extreme as their attention-grabbing label. It isn’t silky smooth but instead has a bit of texture and the jolt of caffeine is real! If honey grim isn’t your thing they also have:
- Chocolate Craze
- White Chocolate
- Killer Caramel
Sriracha
By: ProBar
There is something alluring about the combination of peanut butter and sriracha. Why has this never been done before? Stumbling upon this one has been a great gift to my taste buds and a lovely spike of hotness to get me fired up. The only issue is that this flavor is offered in single-serve packs rather than jars. Totally doable if you love snacks on the go or want to taste test something new. ProBar also offers:

- Chocolate
- Caffeinated peanut butter
