- Cook Time: 4 minutes
- Servings: 25 pieces
Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter, cubed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pound powdered sugar
Instructions
- Cube the butter and add it to a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Next, add the peanut butter and microwave for two minutes.
- Stir the ingredients and return to the microwave and cook for two more minutes. (Use caution, the bowl and food will be hot).
- Next, pour the vanilla extract into the bowl and mix well.
- Pour the powdered sugar into the bowl and stir until the powdered sugar is combined. The mixture should be very thick.
- Press the mixture into the 8-inch by 8-inch square pan. First lining the pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil will make removal much easier.
- Refrigerate for one to two hours. Cut into small pieces.
**Storage**
Store the fudge in an air-tight container and keep it at room temperature. It can be stored for up to 3 weeks. Never store fudge in the fridge as the cold will draw out moisture. This will result in a hard, crumbly consistency.
